Though there are several competing explanations for this trend–consumer slowdown, higher labor costs, intensifying competition and consolidation in various sectors–the relevant question here is what retailers can do to reduce the risk of bankruptcy. It is available to both individuals and businesses, but it is commonly used by corporations and large companies.
